Born and raised in Baltimore...a lover of all things Charm City (except for the city's fledgling school system, our dirty politicians, our ridiculous speed and red light cameras, our handling of the slots bill and subsequent demise of the horse racing industry, Kegasus, and Inner Harbor violence ).  Wait, if you're a potential tourist, forget that...come to Baltimore, we need your money!  Our arena is crumbling!  City employees spend our tax dollars on booze and gamble inside of City Hall!


I lived in the city for 10 years and just recently moved to the county for all of the reasons one can logically deduce for a father of two young girls: Hightopps Bar, The Stil, Michael's, and Razorback's. 

Typically, I'm very level-headed; rarely get into arguments about sports; and infrequently wrestle people in bars after an Orioles win.  You can expect even-keeled opinions and a non-judgmental blog - and if you don't like that, you can go to hell.
