Wake Up - Celtics Fans!

 With their first pick in the draft last night, the Celtics picked Lester Hudson.  I'm really shocked that there has not been more blog activity after this pick.  Where are the Celts fans?

 

Hudson played college ball for Tennessee.  No, not the Volunteers.  The Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks.  In drafting a guard, it is clear the Celtics have a plan for replacing Rajon Rondo.

 

OK, so maybe it is impossible to create a blog full of excitement over a late second round pick.  Still the lack of activity of people writing on Playerpress for the Celtics is surprising.  While the Celtics clearly decided to skip this year's draft, there have been many rumors lately about where they could trade Rondo.  Rondo to the Suns.   Rondo to the Pistons.  GM Danny Ainge stated that they were not going to trade Rondo.  Then he also said that Rondo is not a max contract type of player.  

 

And yet, with lots of talk about trading Rondo, no activity on Playerpress.  This is the 16th post on the Celtics, meaning the C's have more championships (17) then there are posts here.  The Celtics are looking up in the standings at the Trail Blazers with 17 posts. And then the L.A. Clippers with 20 posts.

 

Wait a second... the Clippers?  The Clippers have more posts than the Celtics?  Wake up -Celtics fans!  There are 20 different posts about the Clippers, and they were not even from the same fan!  That means that more than one person thinks that there is important information about the Clippers that should be posted on the internet.  And the Celtics, one year removed from Banner 17, have only 16 posts, just ahead of the Knicks.

 

OK, I realize that there is not really a stat for number of posts on Playerpress.  Still, it is time for Celtics fans to show their support.  I am going to do my part and get a Hudson jersey.  Or, if I can't find a Hudson jersey, I'll get a sale price on a Rondo jersey after he is traded.

I played against Hudson this past year.... I only had six points against UTM. He is a nice player
