The BIG 3
Written by drizzy52, Monday July 19 2010
We have seen the big 3 before in sports even recently when Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce all found themselves on the Boston Celtics. Now the Miami Heat have something like no other before them, Wade, James, and Bosh. Having Bosh along with James and Wade could that have potentially ruined Bosh's career? In the 2009 - 2010 season Wade started 77 games, averaging 26.6 pts per game, James started 76 games, averaging 29.7 pts per game, and Bosh only started 70 games, averaging 24.0 pts per game. If I was dribbling the ball down the court, I would look to see my options, and I would most likely pass it to James / Wade rather than Bosh. But then again, with Wade and James as higher threats Bosh maybe be open down in the post as a result inhabiting him a secure role on the team. It's just in my opinion that Bosh may lose playing time, and points as a result of moving to Miami. To put things into perspective if you could pass the ball to either Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, or Chris Bosh, who would you pass it to? I agree that the 2010 - 2011 Miami Heat will be something the NBA has never seen before, but it's something to think about how Bosh wants to win, but he may suffer in ways that he may have excelled on other teams.
