Tebow Validates What He Is - A Winner!
I’ve never seen more people hate on a nicer guy or a guy who deserves praise more than they do with Tim Tebow. First and foremost, to football analysts who don’t do their homework and talk and criticize Tebow because it’s the “safe” place to be. Do a little homework and validate your point or maybe actually study the guy and get an understanding that being a winning QB is far more than fantasy numbers and looking pretty doing it.
I THINK it’s actually about winning. This guy knows how to win and how to lead better than most star veterans in this league. Yes, I’ve been saying it since college and his comeback performance wasn’t a shock. I fully expected it because he’s a winner. And he will constantly overcome and endure that dumbass fan who wouldn’t know cover 2 from coveralls that tells us why Tim Tebow can’t make it in the NFL. That hater usually played his final football game in the 8th grade.
Another reason to love Tebow is that he excels in the face of adversity and nonsense unlike any high paid QBs in this league and he does it with a smile and a humble attitude that the NFL needs more of. Tebow will never lead the NFL in touchdown passes he will never lead in QB rating, and hell he may not even be in Denver next year, unless of course they want a winner. That being said he makes people around him play better, he leads by example and hard work and he never has to tell you about it to validate his position as a QB in the NFL.
His comeback against the Dolphins won’t be his last and his next win may be uglier than this one. But I do believe winning is what they get paid to do and winning is what he will do. So when all you so called experts start swinging from Tebow’s nuts, and telling us how you knew he was a player just remember you are the same people who told him he was a tight end not a QB. While many of you hate on Tebow, the ones who don’t stand by this guy when he has a bad game because he won’t abandon his team or quit believing in himself.
To me, it’s obvious the Denver Broncos need a winner and the NFL has found a winner. There is something to be said about a guy’s character that continues to believe in himself even when his own franchise didn’t for a minute…bet he changed some minds Sunday.
