Stinker weekend...

WOW, Sundays NFL lineups are far from must watch TV, despite being a huge Lions fan (don't laugh) I am not exactly thrilled to watch them get thumped by the defending champs.
OK, so Lions games have not been must to watch since Barry retired, but normally the NFL provides at least a handful of weekly matchups that everyone looks foward to, but that's not the case this weekend.
Raiders & Giants, even if Eli does not play that game is not going to be worth watching unless you want to see a 300lb quarterback run for his life while throwing balls in the dirt; the Bucs & Eagles, unless you want to see Vick in the wild cat this game has no real intrigue; Vikings & Rams, enough said; oh here's one Bills & Browns, again enough said.
Even the 2 prime time games are not grabbing out at me, I guess the Titans were supposed to be good, but an 0-4 team with no pass rush against a 4-0 Peyton Manning led team, that has blow out written all over it. There are however 2 games that appear to be good matchups and entertaining on paper, 49ers hosting the Falcons & Patriots going to 4-0 Denver.....we'll see.
Is it ironic that MLB has scheduled a full slate of playoff games on Sunday, all eight playoff teams play on Sunday, it will be very interesting to see how the ratings are split come Monday, will the NFL still remain dominant or will America's old past time command the tube accross the nation.

I must agree with you on this one. The NFL matchups have much to be desired. Thank God for wagering, a perfect world in which any game can be a feast of excitement!!
