Russia vs Canada preview

Let's not kid ourselves, this could be one of the best, if not the best hockey game of the tournament, which is more then enough reason to watch. However, the real story, as it is in the NHL, is Crosby vs Ovechkin, and this time it's not for the cup, it's for a chance to play in the medal rounds of the Olympics, and one of them will be eliminated.
It's just what hockey wanted, Crosby vs Ovechkin, Russia vs Canada. They could not have scripted it any better. Well, maybe they would have liked it to be the gold medal game, but still, what a blockbuster game that is going be. In additon, it will be aired tonight in prime time for all to see.
I'll be watching the game, but what I'll really be looking for is how often Ovechkin goes after Crosby and vice versa. That will be a game within itself. One other storyline to watch, is that Crosby will also be playing against Malkin, which will be interesting, Will they check each other, or if Malkin is coming in for a hit, will he pull up knowing it's "Sid the kid."
Besides that, Roberto Luongo will be playing in his first real game, (the Canadien B team could have beaten Germany), so Luongo will be playing in his first meaningful game in front of a raucus crowd in Vancouver, so let's see if he can put one up on Martin Brodeur.
Sure, I'm gonna watch Team USA in the afternoon, but what I'm going to be looking forward to is Russia vs Canada, and Crosby vs Ovechkin!
