The news and notes from Day 3 of the Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp.

Overview

This was the 5th and final practice session of the 3 day rookie minicamp.

Overall Impressions

“It went pretty well,” Jauron said. “We didn’t have much team work. We had a little bit of 7-on-7. Our drafted guys and college free agents performed well. Our tryout guys were outstanding.”

“Sometimes when you have a group tryout it can deteriorate pretty fast and this was really good,” said Jauron. “I think there are some guys in this tryout group that we’ll try to bring back, at least for our OTAs and maybe for training

“It went good,” said Bills second-round pick Jairus Byrd. “I think I just came in and tried to get my feet wet on the terminology, the mental part of the game is the hardest. Then as far as just details. I think I need to work on my landmarks, stuff I went over with the coaches.”

“As a young guy coming in, I’m only 21 years old,” said Maybin. “I’m not arrogant enough to think that I’m going to come in and run everything inside out in this entire program. All I want to be able to do is come in and work as hard as I can, be able to get on the field and use my skill set to help this team in any way possible.”

Player Notes

Tryout wide receivers De’Cody Fagg, Alonzo Phillips continued to show their skills with multiple catches in the 7 on 7 work.
