Rangers Impersonate Knicks by Blowing Lead, Game

The New York Rangers copied the New York Knicks by getting ahead before allowing their opponent to prevail with some gay feel-good come-from-behind penetration.

The past few days of first round NHL and NBA drama have caused a back spasm epidemic that started with Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire and has spread to sports fans all over New York.
"It's stressful and upsetting to see your team perform so well and then completely crumble," one fan said, "that kind of behavior is reserved for the Mets."
Insulted, a Mets player to remain nameless, issued the following statement: "Knowing that New Yorkers expect an inevitable Mets collapse, this season we've made an extra lack of effort to suck from the start. We currently hold the worst record in the majors, and look forward to a future with greater financial problems than the Dodgers."
Fortunately, no one cares about the Mets. Fans are interested in the playoffs, where victory is oh-so-sweet, and defeat is chop full'a agony.
For the Knicks to lose in Boston at the last second in both of their first two games literally adds insult to injury.
"Yeah, Chauncey who? Amar'e who?" some Masshole fan taunted before being informed that the aforementioned men were injured Knicks players unable to fully contribute to their team. "Oh damn, okay, so that's who they is. I was wondering. Good to know, thanks," the fan concluded.
For the Rangers, home was where the heartbreak was.

After a 3-0 lead at the end of the 2nd period, the Rangers froze (pun intended), and now find themselves on thin ice (more punnery there), down 3-1 in their series against the Capitals. New York will need power plays (big pun) to upset the #1 seed.
"To show that much promise and then fail to deliver," Rangers goalie Henrik Lvndqvist said, "that's not us, that's something people expect from Washington."
