Random MLB Venting

I kinda figure this thread could end up as just a place to vent about random things that either don't make sense or are just downright wrong. Feel free to post here if you have something to vent about as well. I'll start things off
Okay, I heard Tim Kurkjian make the excuse for Yankees manager Joe Girardi today that he doesn't have the players he wants playing. That A-Rod's out, and Wang is out, and if he had all his players he could maybe win. This is garbage, the true test of teams is their ability to weather the storms and to play through adversity. The Red Sox (who just finished beating the Yankees for the 5th time this season last night) are playing with a third string shortstop, and last night played with Bailey at first, a player whose average is .118. Dice-K has been rehabbing an "injury" (the same kind of injury Wang suffered-crappy pitching) and Lester and Beckett haven't been playing well either, yet we're still winning games. I'm not saying Girardi should be fired but don't make lousy excuses for him.
