QB - Grade - Comments

Kevin Kolb: [C] - Still early but do far paid too much on the investment.

Alex Smith: [C+] - Jim Harbaugh is a magician, Smith is finally comfortable with a coach.

Charlie Whitehurst / Tavaris Jackson: [D] - This may be too kind, neither start in 2012.

Sam Bradford / AJ Feeley: [C-] - Expected far more from this position after a great rookie year.

Donovan McNabb: [D] - McNabb’s run as a starter is over – no accuracy, no big plays cost him his job.

Christian Ponder: [INCOMPLETE] - Ponder hasn't played enough, flashes of brilliance his smarts and feet will make him a star.

Jay Cutler: [C] - Arm strength makes you drool inconsistency and blame game makes you throw up in your mouth.

Matthew Stafford: [A] - Comeback player of the year, will have his team in playoffs, Pro Bowler, No Limit!

Aaron Rodgers: [A+] - The game's most complete player. Backseat to no one.

Josh Freeman: [C+] - Probably too hard on this guy, but I expect big things - a tad inconsistent.

Cam Newton: [B+] - Great poise, great leader - shocking how quick he's caught on to the passing game. Love the kid!

Matt Ryan: [B] - I want more from Ryan and I know I'll get it - has the weapons.

Drew Brees: [A-] - Without Brees the Saints are the Colts, see Peyton Manning.

Tony Romo: [C-] - Puts up numbers but will kill his own team at some point in every game.

Eli Manning: [B-] - Might be too high a grade, sometimes I don't trust him, then he shocks me.

John Beck: [C-] - Beck takes too many sacks, need to see more of him.

Rex Grossman: [C-] - Rex lost his job being Rex (turnovers).

Michael Vick: [B] - Rising score will be 'A' grade by end of season - ultimate weapon.

Philip Rivers: [B] - Probably my biggest disappointment so far. Not the same QB this year.

Matt Cassel: [C] - Slow start gives him this grde, but have a hunch he'll be a 'B' by season's end.

Jason Campbell: [C+] - Injury ended his season but I liked his progress.

Carson Palmer: [INCOMPLETE] - Palmer better learn fast.

Kyle Orton: [D] - Orton can put up numbers but not taking you anywhere.

Tim Tebow: [INCOMPLETE] - Tebow is the most polarizing player in the NFL - needs specific coaching. I'm one of the few that won't quit on him.

Matt Hasselbeck: [B+] - Great offseason pick up stil plenty of game and perfect fit for Titans.

Blaine Gabbert: [C] - Great upside on a very average team. Going through these rough times will make him a good player.

Curits Painter: [C-] - His shoes are inhuman to have to fill, their team sucks - feel bad for the kid, bringing a knife to a gun fight.

Matt Schaub: [A-] - Probably most underrated QB in league, fast riser. Make no mistake he is THE key to the Texan's deep playoff run.

Ben Roethlisberger: [B+] - Great playmaker, Steelers will go where he takes them. Big Game QB.

Joe Flacco: [C] - One second I think Superbowl, then I think draft a QB. Waiting for Flacco to advance to next level - He CAN.

Andy Dalton: [B+] - Love this rookie's leadership skills. Bengals have themselves a future at QB.

Colt McCoy: [C-] - Winner who needs players and I believe the Browns can win with him.

Chad Henne: [D] - Leadership? Can't carry a team. Solid back-up.

Matt Moore: [C-] - Another back-up, great competitor still new in the system but can't get you to the next level.

Ryan Fitzpatrick: [A] - Best surprise in the league. Love his guts, he's no fluke. Bills bought low and can sell high. Love watching him play from behind.

Mark Sanchez: [C+] - Needs to get to B+, will have Jets in playoffs - explosive talent.

Tom Brady: [A] - He's Tom Brady. Great passion for football, may be the best ever. You got to hit him from opening snap to disrupt his game.

These grades are based on this season so far alone, not on stats - they are based on what I see.

Sean, give me a time at all this year where Cutler has played the blame game as you put it. He has been a leader and complimenting his teammates constantly. This season he has been a [B] at least. Your Cutler bashing makes me want to throw up on you. In addition, your grades are based too much on reputation rather then what they have actually done this year. Rivers should be a [C] minimum, as he has lost games for them this year with big mistakes. And Brady has not been Brady this year, past gets him an [A] but this year, [B] at best.
