PETA ready to go the distance with Mike Tyson

As a child growing up in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, Mike Tyson, like many other lonely, young boys his age, was simply trying to find his way in a fatherless, poverty-stricken home.
And to combat his loneliness, Tyson turned to keeping pigeons on the rooftops of his apartment building on Amboy Street; which was a far cry from his other extracurricular activities, including committing petty crimes and exchanging fisticuffs with anyone who ridiculed his high-pitched voice and lisp.
