Parody Party in College Football.
It is the tenth week of the season. Four teams are undefeated. Nine teams have only one loss. Thirteen teams are looking at two losses. Seven games last week within the top 25 were decided by a touchdown or less. What a wonderful time to love college football!
Who knows what will happen with undefeated Auburn and their quarterback troubles? The possibility of a loss to Alabama lingers heavily on theirs minds enough without outside happenings. And TCU, they may well lose to two-loss San Diego State! The Aztecs would surely love to get a little payback from the 55-12 drubbing they endured last year.
While #1 Oregon's offense looks spectacular, they travel to Cal, play #18 Arizona at home, then have their "Civil War" to deal with. Boise State looks like they might even have some trouble with what experts called an easy schedule as they have an unusual three Friday games in a row. The last of which being a 10:15pm start time hosted by #21 Nevada.
Stanford at number 7 may need more than Heisman-hopeful "Luck" on their side, but a finish with one loss for them is not out of the question either. The Pac-10's resugence to power is real. These teams are good and that could be considered an understatement.
The BigTen has three teams in the top rankings, four if you look a further down to #13 Iowa. Now all being said, do not underestimate the SEC (who would?), when it comes to drama. With seven...count'em...seven teams in the top 25, it may be an exagerration to say they are having a "down year".
LSU will not look past ULM, that is for sure. However, Ole Miss coming to play and a trip to Arkansas in War Memorial will be steeds of another hue entirely. One thing is absolute sports fans, noone knows what will transpire in this the greatest games of pagentry and pride around college football.
In conclusion, if you love action and enjoy a racing heart, white knuckles, sitting on the edge of your seat and etcetera, then tune in. The race to #1 and the Crystal trophy is heating up to be one of the best in history!
