Not A Red Sox Fan... Yet
Written by Chriso, Tuesday June 14 2011
If you read my regular blog (Christopher Corazon), you know that my son Logan Mateo was born last Saturday. And I went back to work today (God Bless the two day work week) and was sharing pictures. This is one of my favorites:

Again, if you read my blog, you probably know I'm from Boston. It raises this question: Why the Nationals? Why not the Red Sox?
You see, when I was a kid, the Red Sox were in the middle of an 86 year curse. They broke your heart. Now it is not my wish to have Logan suffer. However, years of my patience were rewarded with not just one but two championships.
The future is bright for the Nationals. Stephen Strasburg will be back soon enough. Bryce Harper will be in the big leagues before you know it. There are better days to come.
I am not telling Logan that he can not root for the Red Sox. I think he should fully understand what it means to be a true fan before he makes that choice. Besides, there are too many Sox fans right now anyway.
