1. St. Louis Rams – QB Sam Bradford, Oklahoma
Bradford’s gamble paid off as he aced his personal workout. The Rams say they won’t make a decision on Bradford until they work him out three days before the draft, but they’re probably 98 percent sure right now.

2. Detroit Lions – DT Gerald McCoy, Oklahoma
It’s like splitting hairs over who is the better DT, but the Lions go for the player with greater potential.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – DT Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska
The rebuilding plan in TB gets a solid piece of granite for the defense. Meet the second coming of Warren Sapp, Buc fans.

4. Washington Redskins – OT Russell Okung, Oklahoma State
The quarterback wouldn’t matter if he’s constantly under duress. Jason Campbell gets much needed protection.

5. Kansas City Chiefs – S Eric Berry, Tennessee
The defense needs a complete overhaul. If Berry is as good as advertised as a Ed Reed-like player, he will make an impact in the pass and rush defense.

6. Seattle Seahawks – OT Trent Williams, Oklahoma
QB Charlie Whitehurst might be the next Rob Johnson if he can’t stay upright. Williams will be Whitehurst’s bodyguard.

7. Cleveland Browns – CB Joe Haden, Florida
29th in picks and pass defense is a problem. It will be a tough call to pass on Earl Thomas, but Haden is needed against the pass-happy AFC North.

8. Oakland Raiders – OT Brian Bulaga, Iowa
Whether they complete the trade for Philadelphia QB Donovan McNabb or not, the quarterback can’t absorb 49 sacks and still be successful.

9. Buffalo Bills – OT Bruce Campbell, Maryland
If you read what I said about the Raiders, then ditto for the Bills.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars – DE Derrick Morgan, Georgia Tech
Third DE in three years for the Jags since Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves combined for two sacks last year.

11. Denver Broncos – LB Rolando McClain
This could change to a WR if Brandon Marshall is traded. Considering how the run defense faltered down the stretch, they need help in the middle.

12. Miami Dolphins - LB Sergio Kindle, Texas
Joey Porter is gone (thankfully) and Jason Taylor isn’t getting younger. Kindle and Cameron Wake will be the future of the Dolphins’ pass rush.

13. San Francisco 49ers – S Earl Thomas, Texas
Thomas won’t be the physical force Ronnie Lott was for the Niners back in the ‘80s, but he can be a difference-maker for the secondary.

14. Seattle Seahawks – RB C.J. Spiller, Clemson
The offense has gone through a lot of changes through free agency. Seattle’s run game hasn’t been the same since Shaun Alexander declined.

15. New York Giants – DE Jason Pierre-Paul, South Florida
With Osi Umenyiora’s lingering hip injury putting his effectiveness into question, the G-men take the first step towards replacing U-man.

16. Tennessee Titans – DE Brandon Graham, Michigan
He’s relentless, like the player the Titans hope Graham replaces, DE Kyle Vanden Bosch.

17. San Francisco 49ers – OG Mike Iupati, Idaho
Iupati could be a panacea for the O-line as he could play either tackle or guard.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers – CB Patrick Robinson, Florida State
They delay addressing the offensive line for later. The secondary had just 10 interceptions last year.

19. Atlanta Falcons – DE Everson Griffen, USC
They’re considering moving former first rounder DE Jamal Anderson to tackle. Selecting Griffen makes the move possible.

20. Houston Texans – CB Kyle Wilson, Boise State
The Texans are so close to turning the corner and reaching the playoffs. But they can’t get there without a lead corner.

21. Cincinnati Bengals – LB Brandon Spikes, Florida
Cincy ignores the slow 40 time and put their belief in a player that produced while on the field.

22. New England Patriots – DT Jared Odrick, Penn State
The defense gets a little younger as the Pats follow the departure of DE Jarvis Green with Odrick, who’s been compared to five-time Pro Bowler Richard Seymour.

23. Green Bay Packers – OT Anthony Davis, Rutgers
Honestly, QB Aaron Rodgers must get rid of the ball quicker. But the coaches want to buy Rodgers time when he looks deep.

24. Philadelphia Eagles – C Maurkice Pouncey, Florida
Philly grown tired of Shawn Andrews and released him. Pouncey better not mind moving to guard.

25. Baltimore Ravens – WR Dez Bryant, Oklahoma
If Bryant has character issues, GM Ozzie Newsome thinks those would disappear when he gets into the veteran Baltimore locker room.

26. Arizona Cardinals – DT Dan Williams, Tennessee
‘Zona has been strip-mined this off-season. But one of the bigger losses, DE Bertrand Berry, was due to retirement.

27. Dallas Cowboys – WR Demaryius Thomas Georgia Tech
Roy Williams, already demoted, could find himself looking for a job.

28. San Diego Chargers – RB Ryan Mathews, Fresno State
The Chargers already said good-bye to LaDanian Tomlinson. If they keep Darren Sproles, SD needs a full-time ball carrier.

29. New York Jets – DE Jerry Hughes, TCU
The defense is just missing a sack artist. Vernon Gholston hasn’t been it and his time is running out.

30. Minnesota Vikings – S Taylor Mays, USC
Mays will take a similar route to starter like Carolina’s Thomas Davis. The college safety will be converted to outside linebacker.

31. Indianapolis Colts – DT LeMamrr Houston, Texas
Indy already added bulk to the offensive line through free agency. Adding more beef to the D-line becomes the priority.

32. New Orleans Saints – DE Carlos Dunlap, Florida
They bid adieu to Charles Grant in the off-season. N’awlins takes a chance on the physical freak and hope they can tap Dunlap’s full potential.
