LeBron Apologizes for Saying "Retarded", Not for Being Such

In one of the biggest misstatements since Christina Aguilera said “From my own experience, great things come in small packages,” seemingly referring to herself as both “great” and “small,” Lebron James apologized yesterday for saying the word “retarded”, when he meant to say sorry for being such on July 8th of last year.
Pretending to care about retarded political correctness, Lebron James opened his postgame comments last night by saying, “I want to apologize for using the ‘R’ word after Game 3,” James said only to add, “but that would be retarded.”
Someone must have told the Lebron that the word was like the N word of the mentally challenged community because Lebron said, “If I offended anyone, I sincerely apologize.” Luckily for Lebron, retards tend to 1) not get it, and B) watch the WNBA.
A self-proclaimed King who did not attend college and is a professional basketball player in the NBA, Lebron James may very well qualify as a mild, moderate, severe, or profound retard. He does have the words “gifted child” tattooed on his chest.
Lebron muttered “that’s retarded” after Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals when he and the man whose team he joined, Dwyane Wade, listened to a reporter ask Wade whether the play that dislocated Rondo’s elbow was dirty.
“I didn’t understand the question,” James said because he’s retarded. “It is definitely blown out of proportion,” he continued, because one of the retards in his ineffective PR team told him he should acknowledge this ridiculousness. “I don’t think Dwyane is a dirty player. It’s the same as … I don’t think that is a great question. I think that’s a stupid question. In fact, the question was retarded.”
