Knicks get Thunderstruck

Last night was really bad. The score shows the Knicks lost by 12 to the Oklahoma City Thunder but the game was pretty much a blowout. It is very tough to win when you play absolutely no defense. The Knicks allowed 70 points in the first half. Their defensive effort was....pretty gross. I am aware that OKC is a very very very good team. However, you cannot allow a team with three offensive weapons (Durant, Westbrook, and Harden) to shoot with no pressure on them.
The Knicks did not have Carmelo Anthony tonight due to an ankle inury. It's rough when you go from starting Carmelo Anthony to Bill Walker. Regardless of who is on the floor, defense must be played. When you do not play defense, you will not win.
Out of the four games the Knicks have next week, two of the games are going to be really tough. Orlando on Monday and Milwaukee on Fri are not going to be challenging. It would have been nice going into Monday's game against Orlando with a victory over OKC but when you play no D, you do not win.
Let's see what happens next week.
