Knicks can't beat the RAPt

Once again my beloved Knickerbockers put an effort that mixed brilliance with atrocity.   The Knicks have yet to put a game together where they play the full 4 Quarters.  Each contest they've played so far seems to miss one quarter.  Don't get me wrong, I know the Knicks can't win every game and I know they can't play perfect every possession.  However, only playing 3/4 of the game is inexcusable.  Losing at home 90-85 to the Toronto Raptors is awful.

I don't know about you my fellow Knicks fan(s) (depends how many people are actually reading this) but I am already tired of 3 things:

1.  Toney Douglass dribbling down the court and forcing up a three.  I know it works sometimes but I am a numbers guy.  25% of the time does not work for me (and 25% might be generous).

2.  Carmelo Anthony taking two dribbles and then pulling up.  It's hard to criticize a guy who can drop 30+ on any given night.  It's also hard watching a superstar who can get to the line at will settle for jumpers when there is a clear mismatch.

3.  Only playing 3 out of the four quarters.  Play like that is going to result in a .500 season.  They will win against the poor teams most of the time, lose against the mediocre teams half the time, and win against the top teams sometimes.

Where are you Baron Davis?  Come back soon.  Till next article my fellow Knickerbocker loyalists.
