Jacques Lazier to Race in IRL Bombardier Learjet 550k

Veteran racer Jacques Lazier will be replacing Stanton Barrett in the #98 car this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. Lazier's addition to the field comes at a time when the depth of IRL driver experience, talent, and competition continues to grow. Lazier certainly will contribute to this momentum.
Lazier is expected to handle driving duties in the #98 for the remainder of the IRL schedule for all oval courses.
The Bombardier Learjet 550k runs on June 6, 2009 under lights, marking the 20th Indy Car Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Texas Motor Speedway is a 1 1/2 mile track with 24 degree banking in the turns. Last year, Scott Dixon took the checked flag.
