Is It Time For Peyton Manning To Hang Up His Cleats?

As much as I think he is a great player, I believe the answer is yes. Why? Well, he is coming off 3 recent neck surgeries that have left his future in doubt. Plus, he has accomplished about all there is to accomplish in the NFL. He is a three time Pro Football Writer's Association(PFWA) MVP in 2009, 2008, and 2004. He is a four time AP MVP in 2009, 2008, 2004, and 2003. He won the Super Bow; MVP in 2006, and the Newspaper Enterprise Association MVP in 2004, and 2003. He is also a two time winner of the Bert Bell Player of the Year Award in 2004, and 2003. He was elected the AP Offensive Player of the Year in 2004, along with the Walter Peyton Man of the YearAward in 2005. He is an 11 time Pro Bowler, a 5 time first Team All Pro selection and is the leader among active quarterbacks in 9 different categories. Even if he does come back it is doubtful he will be able to play up to his past credentials. the smart move for Peyton would be to take these amazing accomplishments, retire, and wait for Canton to call in 5 years.
