I'll ask 22 Questions, and They're All About Giants.
Written by Big Poppa TC, Wednesday June 17 2009
I was going through my IPOD and listening to some older songs, and came across one of my old rap playlists. 50 Cent asked 21 Questions, and they were all about ‘us’. Now I figure I’m just a little more hardcore than 50 Cent (think 51 Cent), so I’m going to ask 22 Questions, and they’re all about the SF Giants, who are very much in the Wildcard Race in the National League this year. Please note that I don’t have 22 Answers.
1. Will Matt Cain or Tim Lincecum win the CY Young this year?
2. Has Barrack Zito become Barry Zito again?
3. Why are the Giants so bad at moving runners over?
4. Why is Travis Ishikawa sooo bad on the road and sooo good at home?
5. Will the Giants win in San Diego this year?
6. Has anyone else had enough of the Jonathon Sanchez experience?
7. Why is Aaron Rowand playing so much better in the leadoff role?
8. When will Tim Lincecum get a haircut?
9. Should Justin Miller or Brian Medders get a start or two in place of Jonathon Sanchez?
10. Will Buster Posey get a chance in the majors this year (Should he?)?
11. Has the quality of the Garlic Fries at the ballpark deteriorated over the past two years?
12. Does Jeremy Affeldt have the nastiest lefty curve in the National League?
13. Why is Rich Aurilia still on the roster? (13a. Does he control the “One Ring”?)
14. If Fred Lewis is fast, why doesn’t he play good defense or steal bases?
15. If Fred Lewis is strong, why doesn’t he throw people out or have any RBI?
16. On a scale of 1 to 10, how badly did the Giants murder the A’s over the weekend?
17. What is the over/under on number of Giants who hit 20 home runs this year? Is it 1?
18. Can we get more commercials where those two little girls berate Giants players (freakin hilarious)?
19. How much better would the Giants lineup be if they picked up Bobby Abreu or Adam Dunn?
20. Is J.T. Snow really, really good in the booth? Or is it just me?
21. How many All-Stars will the Giants have this year (Lincecum, Cain, Molina?, Sandoval?)?
22. Will the Giants make the playoffs?
Feel free to ponder these questions, or answer and post here, or answer and post on your Facebook page.

Yah for some inexplicable reason I'm kinda rooting for the Brewers too. I'm rooting for some more Giant beating A's action in Oakland this week (I don't want to say 'murder' in Oakland, because people might get confused as to which 'murder'.)

I rate the Giants beat down of the A's a 15. It was just embarrassing, especially since the Angels just waltzed into town and put it down like the A's should have. I love those two little girls in the ads. They are freaking hilarious. I couldn't tell you about the garlic fries because the last time I went to the Phone Booth, the line for fries was longer than the line for beer, so I kept opting for the shorter line. As far as JT goes, he needs to stay in the booth and away from the field, because if he gets too close while Randy Johnson is pitching, Snow might catch one to the face again! Great work as always Poppa!

On #22, I hope so. Cards, Mets, Giants, Brewers will all be in the wild card chase. Should make for a fun race to watch this summer. Good luck!
