Hello everybody, I have an autographed photograph of Rocky Lockridge back in 84 I believe it was. I was stationed in Alaska, 172nd Airborne Inf., Artic Moutain Paratrooper Division, and Rocky came and ran a 6mi run with our company the morning after a fight in Anchorage or some promotinal event. Anyway he was on top of his game then and seemed to be one of the nicest people you'de want to meet. I surely hope he can shake it off one day. There has to be a lot of pain involved with a career like that. Mental anguish is what I am referring to. I hate it for him and wish him the best. I sincerely hope that he can pull it out of the ditch and get thing going his way again.

The "Governing Bodies" of boxing need to design an organization, similar to the NFLPA, that provides a pension and other support mechanisms for former professional boxers. Few athletes give up what pugilists do when examining, time invested, purses earned, and cerebral health. The "large concerns" need to sit down at the table and draw up a solution.
