Detroit Tiger's Listened To The Call
Written by PaulHenri41, Monday May 09 2011
My last article I talked about the Detroit Tigers needed to receive a walk up call. I think they just got it.
The Tiger's since going on a 7 game losing streak have won 5 of the past six games. One of those games Justin Verlander pitched a no hitter against the Toronto Blue Jays. It was Verlander's second no hitter of his career.
Pretty good I'd say from a pitcher some fans thought was past his prime.
Jim Leyland's players must continue the charge.
17-18 and in third place in their division.
Pitcher Max Schzerer is 5-0 on the season with an ERA just over 3 runs per contest.
Also, Helping to bring the Tigers back to winning ways is a health Victor Martinez and it looks like Magglio Ordonez is getting his batting swing back.
I'm not surprised at the turn around, just happy they did answer the call.
