Here are the schedules for the first week of the season for mty top three picks to make the NBA Finals.
The Cavaliers open the season tonight at home vs the Boston Celtics, travel to Toronto on Wednesday, travel to Minnesota on Friday, and return home to face the Charlotte Bobcats. If the Cavs are to take the next step this year they must play better vs teams such as the Celtics. Look for the Cavs to open the season 4-0.
The Lakers open defense of their title tonight in the first of 3 straight home games. The opponents in those games are the Clippers(tonight), Dallas(Friday), and Atlanta(Sunday). The Lakers could and should sweep these three games to open the season at 3-0.
The Orlando Magic open their season on Wednesday vs Philadelphia, they play at New Jersey on Friday, and at Atlanta on Sunday.The Magic are out to prove last year was no fluke, look for them to open the season 3-0.
