Wow.....it's the only word you can say without crying Bears fans.
The Bears front office have made me an enemy, and I'm not even a Bears fan ( Chicago born and raised), it's because they are mking me defend.....Jay Cutler.
That game against the Lions was for a nice word, brutal. That line couldn't stop anybody, couldn't move anybody, couldn't give Jay more than 3 seconds to pass. I actually sat here and timed his pocket protection ( after the onslaught of penalties, I grabbed my stopwatch). He averages 2.1 seconds in the pocket. Stafford had 4.7 seconds. And Jay still put up great numbers.
This offensive line has had problems, but how can Mike Martz and the coaching staff keep a straight face every week and justify these guys? And the lack of receivers. Go with a plan. Is Knox your number 1? Fine, make him a number one and build around him. Roy Williams is a joke.
Memo to Jay Cutler, Call out your offensive line. Most quarterbacks won't do it in fear of a retaliation during a game like them missing tackles, allowing the QB to get killed for payback.....it can't get much worse man.
