BC Eagles' Frank Spaziani stays cool when Davis bails

The Boston College Eagle's new head coach, Frank Spaziani, is determined to make the Eagles a winning team this season, or at least a team that does not finish last in its league, as critics are predicting.

The bad news came in early June, when Dominique Davis, the Eagles' suspecting starting quarterback, announced that he was transferring schools after being put on academic suspension at BC. At that point, Spaziani had his offensive line set up strong enough to compete with the other teams in the ACC. Losing Davis, his quarterback, the center of his carefully constructed football game blue-print, could have been enough to put any head coach in panic mode...

Not Coach Spaziani. He is determined to make his first years as the Eagles' collegiate level head coach count for the best.

Almost immediately following Davis's announcement, Spaziani, backed by the BC football organization recruited Dave Shinskie, a twenty-five year old former baseball player and high school football stallion looking for a chance to throw around with the big boys.

So far it seems that Spaziani will replace Davis without much trouble, considering the players now competing for BC's quarterback position, veteran Jason Tuggle, former red-shirt Chase Rettig, and new recruit Dave Shinskie, are well-equipped with the athletic talent to lead their team to success.
