Bad news Bengals, the story in Cincy

Chad Ochocinco has been making news headlines for the past couple weeks because of his show where he dates eighty-five women. But today most headlines are about one woman. Chad may be sued by a woman claiming that he physically abused her in 2007. She reported that Ochocinco punched her in the face. I do believe that Ocho will beat the rap, because these allegations happened so long ago.
But that is not the point. This is the second time this summer where a Bengal has been in legal trouble. This coming after running back Cedric Benson was arrested for assault. Where the Bengals are heading they might need to change their helmets from black and orange stripes to black and white stripes.
The Bengals are turning into a thug team. The late Chris Henry was always in trouble, Cedric Benson has a problem with alcohol and Chad Ochocinco is accused of beating up his girl. To top it all off the organization just signed NFL bad boy Adam, “Pac-Man,” Jones.
This shows me where the problem is coming from, the front office. They draft thugs, sign thugs and trade for thugs. The Bengals organization has got to start doing background checks or something. They need to make this trend stop. Do you know why?
Thugs do not win championships. Look in the Bengals division. Who is football royalty? The Pittsburgh Steelers. Do you think that the Rooney family would have stood for actions like these? No way, guys like Benson and Jones would be out on the street in a heartbeat. The Rooneys cut Superbowl MVP Santonio Holmes and suspended quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for bad behavior. And look how many championships the Rooney family has, 5. The Bengals, 0.
Mike Brown, take a page out of the Rooneys book. You have got to start cutting some of these thugs if you ever want a chance at the big game again.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Bengals and always will. Last year was great, we won the division and got to experience a playoff game. How can the Bengals repeat what they did last year if their starting running back and number 1 receiver are in trouble? I will stick by my team, but shape it up and fly right guys. You owe it to your fans.
