Giants Steve Smith Makes Bad Tiger Joke on Facebook

Just over a week ago, one Steve Smith, the Carolina Panthers wide receiver, made the stupid decision to go all out in an adult flag football game, and consequently broke his arm and tried to hide from the Panthers.

This week, the other Steve Smith, the New York Giants wide receiver, made the stupid decision to play comedian and make a bad joke on his Facebook page about Tiger Woods soon to be rich ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.

Since the news that Tiger Woods will pay his ex-wife hundreds of millions of dollars in a divorce settlement was released, the Giants Smith thought he was being funny when he had this to say on his Facebook page:  "Big up to Tigers wife all she had to do is open her legs and say 'I Do' and now she's one of the richest people in the world lol."

 

Besides the fact that the statement is not really that funny, OK maybe a little bit, but that is not the point here. The fact of the matter remains that it was not Elin Nordegren that was gallivanting around town with every available sex partner she could get her hands on, it was Tiger himself.

 

So the fact that the Giants Smith was suggesting that Elin was being a gold digger only getting married to Tiger for the hopes of getting a nice big personal bank account, and although she will now have one, it was still Tiger that wreaked the marriage by playing around, not her.  

Tiger is not the victim here, Elin is.  If Tiger knew in the back of his mind that once he got married he would be thinking with the wrong head with women besides his wife, then he probably should have never gotten married in the first place.

 

Because he was definitely not thinking with the head on his shoulders when he strayed knowing that the consequences were going to cost him a boat load of his money if he got caught, which, eventually he did.

 

The Giants Smith has taken a lot of flack for the semi humorous comment and has since deleted the post from his Facebook account and he wants to change the subject.

 

His latest post: "I was just joking around jeeeez!! whats everyone doin for the 4th??"
