Bad Marvin!
Written by Travis Pulver, Thursday June 17 2010
Peyton Manning’s favorite target for more than a decade has had another run in with the police in Philadelphia.
Wednesday night, the former Indianapolis Colt great was pulled over after police witnessed him driving the wrong way down a one way street. Officer’s thought they saw him place a weapon in the seat console. When Harrison lied about having it, officer’s had probable cause to search the vehicle.
Harrison did have a permit to carry the gun. He was eventually questioned by a police special investigations unit, but was later released. The Philadelphia DA did have Harrison surrender the 9mm he was found with.
Since April of 2008, Harrison has been a person of interest in a shooting that took place near the garage he owns (he was stopped approximately three blocks from the same garage Wednesday night).
Supposedly Harrison got in an altercation with Dwight Dixon in April of 2008. In the end, Dixon ended up being shot in the hand, an innocent bystander was also shot, and a child was injured by shattered glass.
Police will be testing Harrison’s 9mm to see if it matches with three shell casings found in Dixon’s truck that he said were from a weapon fired by Harrison. Dixon has since been killed (and the crime unsolved).
Harrison is unable to comment on anything since there is still pending civil suits related to the 2008 incident.
The Philadelphia DA has yet to say whether or not he will pursue criminal charges against Harrison, but that he wants to wait and see the results of the Dixon shooting incident.

I would not be surprised to see him either getting a sweetheart deal like Ray Lewis did or standing next to Rae Caruth in the chow line.

Marvin Harrison is a terrible person... He clearly was involved in the death of Dixon. Also the entire NFL knows this guy is a complete scum bag, he is one of the best WR's of all time and no one would even dare sign him once the Colts decided not to keep him around.
