I know that this article is a bit late, but better late then never.

What an incredible season this was!

First off I’d like to thank God because without him nothing is possible. I want to thank my team, my coaches, the league, my family, and our fans for such a successful season! To everyone that supported and believed in us, thank you. It was said that the LA Temptation was not expected to even be in the playoffs, but we proved those people wrong by blowing out the San Diego Seduction 53-0. That was our ticket to the 2010 Lingerie Bowl.

Our next task at hand was to beat the Dallas Desire in the Western Conference Playoffs in Miami and we did. This game was our revenge that we had been seeking since we lost against them during season back in October. Our team brought heart and strength because we knew Dallas wasn’t going to be an easy team to beat. We played as a team and knew we did not want to feel like we did that night after our loss against Dallas. That was the fuel to our fire coming into that playoff game.

Dallas is a great team, but it came down to what team wanted it more. I told my teammates that it’s hard to beat a team twice in one season and we proved that. Our team has many talented players and we don’t look to just go to one player. We play as a squad. Defeating Dallas was one of the greatest feelings I had all season long, but once that game was over it was over.

Our next opponent up was the Chicago Bliss. Chicago was a team that had been undefeated all season long until they played the Temptation Nation. Bliss is a very strong and talented team and deserved to be in the bowl game just as much as we did. Those girls can play!

We were the underdogs all throughout the playoffs, which made it that much sweeter once we beat the Bliss.

It was a tough game to play in for both teams because we only had a day to rest after playing in the playoff games. Both teams were bruised and a bit beat up from the Western and Eastern Conference playoff games. Our team pulled it together and our chemistry on the field that night was unbelievable.  Our focus throughout the game is what helped us defeat the Bliss.

Winning the Lingerie Bowl 2010 was a feeling we had been waiting for all season long. This was truly an experience and an opportunity of a lifetime that we will never forget.  We look forward to defending our title next season.  Champions are made in the offseason.
