Chiefs Receiver Not Looking to Make Friends Anytime Soon

A sure fire way to get a bunch of guys mad at you is to broadcast to the world the method by which they have some extracurricular fun on the road.

 
For some reason Kansas City Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe decided to talk about the practice of importing. No, not buying products from Japan or China, but flying in girls and having them stashed away in the team hotel.
Officially, the team has not addressed the comments regarding the practice of importing by Bowe. However, a former teammate, defensive lineman Jimmy Wilkerson, has felt the need to speak out.
"The things he's saying are not true. Security is so tight at the hotels.  They wouldn't allow your family members to come up to the rooms, let alone have girls waiting in the rooms for you…It makes it look like the coaches let this kind of stuff go on and I know Coach [Herm] Edwards did not do that.” (PFT)
According to Bowe, some of the veteran players would use a variety of social media outlets like MySpace and Facebook searching for pretty girls. When one responds, they offer to fly her out to the next city they are playing in.
Bowe took it a step further by describing groupies in the hotel lobby, players setting up girls in every room, and some approaching him and talking about personal information as if they were close, family friends.
Why Bowe would talk about these things now is an absolute mystery, and one some of his teammates will want to get to the bottom of.
