USA Four-man Bobsled wins Gold!

With yet another perfect run down sliding’s most dangerous track, Steven Holcomb drove USA-1 to the Olympic gold medal in four-man bobsledding on Saturday, the first for the U.S. since 1948 when Francis Tyler won one for the Americans at St. Moritz.
Holcomb’s four-run time was 3 minutes, 24.46 seconds, with Justin Olsen, Steve Mesler and Curt Tomasevicz once again pushing for him, as they did a year ago in winning the world championship.

German Andre Lange, who failed for the first time in five Olympic events to win a gold medal, had an almost perfect final run to win the silver in his final race. Lange finished a whopping 0.38 seconds behind the “Night Train.”
Lyndon Rush drove Canada-1 to the bronze.
