No. 2 Kentucky Survives Against Alabama 66-55
Although the score may not indicate it, No. 2 Kentucky had a hard time putting away Alabama. The Crimson Tide losers of their last three games, just came off a hard lost at Ole Miss Saturday after being up by as many as 23 in the second half.
So, you would think the Cats would have no problem with the Tide right? The Cats only lead by seven at the half 31-24 and was up as many as 14 in the second half, but the Tide cut the lead to as many as six before the Cats would make their free throws to pull away.
John Calipari said this about Alabama and new coach Anthony Grant:
"He gave his team a chance to win -- on the road -- in Lexington, Kentucky"
