Get Your Picks In

I figured Nolan wasn't going to send it this week, so I thought I would.

This week is going to be a Wild Weekend.  (link to my article on the Four Wildcard games to open the playoffs )

Point spreads don't matter, because in the playoffs, there is no glory in covering the spread but going home.

I like the Packers, Cowboys, Bengals, and Ravens.

Starting with the Ravens, it is hard to pick against the Patriots as a fan of New England.  But I don't think they will recover from the loss of Wes Welker, and Tom Brady also seems to be banged up.  I think the Bengals will prevail even though the Jets shut them out on Sunday.  The Jets are a 7-7 team that greatly benefitted from drawing the Colts and Bengals for 2 more wins while those teams were thinking about the playoffs.  The Cowboys already won a game where the Eagles should have been trying.  I think they will win for a third time this season.  Finally the Packers, because I like the idea of momentum over rest.

Now come on... get those picks in.

i submit that it is as impressive to lose all four games as it is to win all four. therefore i am the victor.

Maybe that makes me one of the worst Patriots fans in the world. I just know the Ravens were one of the teams I didn't want to see again. And without Wes Welker, that amps my concerns. Call me a pessimist if you want.
