More old pictures
Written by Nolan Thomas, Wednesday December 30 2009
Since Kerri and Chriso have decided to post some old pictures, I thought that I would get in the action as well.
Here are a few pictures of me back in my old Rock N Roll days in the 70's.
Although they are not sports pictures, trust me, in order to be a drummer you have to be athletic as it takes a lot of physical prowess to sit behind those drums and beat the hell out of them for 3-4 hours every night under those hot lights.

Actually, that was the name of the club, which was called "Beginnings" and was owned by Danny Serafino, the drummer in Chicago. The name of the band from those shots was "Shattuck" I also played in the bands "Northshore", "Blacksmith", "Swaylay", "MadHadder" and "Rude Neighbors" up until 1996 when I moved to Atlanta. I have also sat in with Derek St. Holmes, the lead singer from Ted Nugent on numerous occasions. A little bit of triva that still hits a nerve, before they became famous, Cheap Trick backed us up one night back in the 70's.

Nolan, we gotta know. What was the band's name? We can only see part of the name behind you in those wonderfully "70s" letters.
