Truth

First, I'd like to say that I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I did and it was really great to see my family for a bit. Other than my football career, I've been pretty slammed. I've had a few requests about what it is that I do other than play ball...

I'm also a professional model, actor & singer so I've been booked on several shoots, and just recently wrapped my first horror film. Super stoked about it. :) Some days I feel like I spend alot of my time in front of cameras & don't get enough sleep but, I really do love what I do, and feel very blessed to be a part of the industry. I am fortunate enough to get to travel and meet new people and I hope to become more successful with each new opportunity. Actually, I'm hoping for an "ass-kicker' role at some point. I'd love to be able to do my own stunts!

Football has been such an awesome outlet for me, because I can get dirty and rough on purpose! :) We have still been practicing over the holiday and will continue to do so through the Seattle game and before Miami.

I'm also so proud to be trained by some of who I think are the best coaches in the league, especially my head coach, Antuan Edwards. Ihonestly believe we would not be the team that we are without him. His teaching, personal sacrifices, and dedication to us as players is without a doubt, untouchable. I have not only learned the game of football from him, but have become a stronger person in other areas of my life.

It's amazing to think that every day at practice we are being led by former NFL greats. I mean, these guys played in the hierarchy of the game. Honestly, most guys would probably be like, "yea right, you want me to coach a bunch of pre-madonna, drama-queens trying to act like they wanna play ball? No thanks." But truthfully, because of our coaches, the Desire is a women's football team, with serious passion and fight; and I'm very proud to be a part of it.

I'm looking forward to Seattle, and Miami. See you guys at the finish line.

Here's a few pics... some from my other occupations. :)

Intensity, Adrenaline & Heart,
Erin Marie Garrett aka "CRASH" #2 Dallas Desire

Erin you can talk about your coaches and what you have learned but at the end of the day, when that whistle goes its you thats on the field and the Desire is only where they are today because of the efforts of their players and you have brought a lot to the game. Erin its opened my eyes watching you play ball and its because of players like you that I love the LFL and it has to be said has made me a fan of the Dallas Desire. Go Dallas Desire !!
