Temptation Nation

The nation is here ya’ll and we ain’t goin no where!
Friday November 28th we defeated the Seattle Mist. There was no way in hell
We also had the San Diego Seduction in the building which is our next opponent. This was the first game where I felt like we were a team on the field. Despite our minor mistakes, we managed to come together and play as one. This was my first game playing nearly the entire game and I did my best to rise to the occasion.
I had a good tackle at the beginning of the game, but didn’t celebrate or show much emotion after the play. I got back up after I made my hit and went back in to the huddle for the next play.
When I play a sport I am out there to do a job, so when I do my job right I am only doing what’s expected of me. I don’t like getting caught up in trash talk or taunting because to me, the scoreboard says it all. I can’t stand people who talk trash and can’t back it up. I save my energy for the field rather than wasting it on all that other nonsense.
At the end of the game my body was killing from head to toe. That’s how I know I left every ounce of energy out on that field. The next two days I was walking like an old lady, but it was well worth it.
We are still building as a team and have yet to play our best ball. We have a lot of talent on our team, but our full potential has yet to show. We seem to play to our opponent’s level which is usually a lower level than what we are capable of playing. Our goal is to get to Miami and play in the Championship game, but we must not look past our next opponent.
Our next home game is January 29th against the San Diego Seduction at the LA Sports Arena which gives us plenty of time to prepare. We will be working hard these next couple of weeks because we can’t afford to lose. One team one nation Temptation Nation!

I like the fact that you let your actions do your talking for you when you're on the field. When trash talking became fashionable in the NFL, I felt it lost a bit of its class and sportsmanship. I'm glad to see at least one LFL player doesn't buy into that mentality. Might be a story there. ;p

Good stuff, Monique. You were unlucky against my team Dallas Desire but hopefully we can do you a favour in our next game against Seattle. If the double D win then LA go to the playoffs !! Looking forward to seeing Dallas and LA in the play offs at Lingerie Bowl weekend.
