Coming at you from Southern California, I'm Riley Maddex #8 wide receiver for the Lingerie Football League's- Los Angeles Temptation!
Full-time personal trainer and part-time model and football player, I find myself training around the clock these days. Whether in the gym or out on the field, 5-6 days a week you'll find me working hard to stay in shape and conditioned for football! Being in great physical shape means nothing if you don't train and condition specifically for football. It's a "whole nother deal" when your out there running the ball, getting hit left and right, knocked to the ground and you gotta keep going! Winning Championships doesn't come easy, you have to work, sweat, and hurt! I'll tell you this much...it's sure worth the PAIN for the GAIN!
Just about two weeks ago I experienced one of the greatest feelings in the world, as my team and I took on the Denver Dream on their home field in CO. It was every player's first time on the field, finally making it happen as a player for the Lingerie Football League. We all had the jitters running out on the field in front of thousands of people who were there for us! Los Angeles Temptation went to Denver with one goal in mind, and that was to come home winners. Our nerves took the best of us in the first half, we went into half time with a score of Denver 20-6 over LA. Coach ripped us a new one in the locker rooms, and reminded us why we're playing this sport! We went out there with a whole new attitude and a whole lot of HEART! We dominated the second half of the game not allowing Denver to score a single point! Final score was LA 26-20, we made history as the first LFL team to win at an away game!
