I'm Erika Trujillo and I Play for the Denver Dream
Written by Erika Trujillo, Thursday October 01 2009

Hi there, my name is Erika Trujillo, #4 on the Denver Dream, an expansion team of the Lingerie Football League.
I was born and raised in lovely Colorado by a large loving and caring family. My parents, Anthony and Denise have been very involved in my life since day one and have guided me to be where I am today. I have two younger brothers, Justin and Camden, simply the best! My whole life has been sports oriented, from the age of four, I was daddy’s lil’ slugger and mommy’s lil’ angel, mixing in tap dance and ballet lessons and lacing up cleats and putting on a glove, I was active, animated, and competitive in everything I did, always striving to be the best.
That was the official start to my athletic career, from there I played softball, basketball, and ran track for my respective schools and eventually I took softball to the next level playing for nationally represented teams from the age 12 on up. I was part of the Dakota Ridge HS state championship team, and was a two time All-State and All-Colorado accolades recipient in my prep career, which carried me into my collegiate career.
I played collegiate softball at Coastal Carolina University, where I was privileged to be a part of the 2006 Big South Conference Championship team that moved on to the Women’s College World Series, all while earning my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Post-graduation has been an interesting ride, I have been all over the charts with activities and work, currently working as an engineering planner, to coaching high school softball, and running my first marathon. I like to keep myself active and busy, which brings me to where I am today…
#4 on the Denver Dream. I came upon the Lingerie Football League by luck, I saw a quick ad on tv and ultimately decided to tryout for it. After month and months of training, practices, and marketing, it is all finally coming together. The Lingerie Football League has been a unique experience in itself, bringing teamwork and unity back into my life. The Denver Dream is a very special team to Denver and a great addition to the LFL family. All of the ladies have been wonderful and honored to be a part of the LFL and thankful that we are given the opportunity to excel as athletes, models, and people.
