Q&A WITH CHRIS BARRETT
Q: What is the fondest memory of your college career and/or semi-pro?
My game against Concord in 2014. I got thrown in the line of fire after an injury to our starter at that time. When my opportunity came, I took advantage and produced.
Q: Who was the toughest competitor you faced in college and/or semi-pro?
Q: What was your best game in college or semi-pro football?
The game against Concord
Q: What was your favorite NFL team growing up?
The Philadelphia Eagles
Q: Who was your favorite player?
Q: Which current NFL player most resembles you?
Q: What would your former teammates say about you?
I’m the ultimate competitor and worker. They would say I will be the first one in, last one out, and will do anything it takes to be the best quarterback on the field, and help our team win.
Q: What are you presently doing as far as training?
I’m working with my trainer Johnny Carlisle at The Cage Sports Performance Center in Phoenixville, PA.
Q: What is your favorite combine drill (40, Shuttle, 3-Cone, Bench, Broad, Vert)?
Q: Why do you believe you have been flying below the radar as a football player?
I’m always doing what it takes to improve my game to the highest level, while at the same time taking the underdog mentality to win at everything I do.
Q: What do you want to do besides football?
Sports Performance Training. I want to make athletes better physically and mentally just as Johnny Carlisle did for me.
Q: What do you like to do for fun?
I like to go hunting, especially during open season.
Q: If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
Kurt Warner, James Braddock, and my trainer Johnny. All of them started with nothing, grinded with everything they had to get a chance, and when they got their chances they took their talents to the top and were able to inspire so many people. I would love to have dinner with them so that I could pick their brains on how to succeed in life!
