Bet the Pats

It's over folks, the New England Patriots will win the Super Bowl.  How do we know? The Falcons decided to wear their red jerseys and the Patriots have chosen to wear their white jerseys. Teams wearing their white jerseys have won 11 of the last 12 Super Bowls.

See each year the “home” team in the Super Bowl alternates between the AFC and NFC. For this Super Bowl, the Falcons are considered the home team, therefore they had the first choice of uniform color.

The last time the Falcons made the Super Bowl they chose their black jerseys and got shellacked by the Denver Broncos. On the flip side, the last time a conference champion wore white and lost was the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011 where they lost to the Green Bay Packers.

Now New England is 2-1 in the Super Bowl when wearing white jerseys. Right not Las Vegas odds makers are expecting a tight high-scoring game. They have the spread at New England -3 with a total of 59 points.

Want to have fun before the game begins? Interesting prop bet to set the night off right. Bet the over 2.15 minutes on how long will it take Luke Bryan to sing the National Anthem.

Thank me later.
