Sunday night the New England Patriots almost lost a lot more than just the game. Late in the fourth quarter tight end Rob Gronkowski took a hit to the knee that left him on the turf in obvious pain. They had to bring the cart out to take him off the field and back to the locker room for x-rays.
He was later seen walking around without trouble, and after having an MRI Monday it looks like the damage wasn’t that bad after all.
Rob Gronkowski is week to week and the injury is being described as more of a bruise of the knee than a tear per sources #Patriots— Dianna Marie Russini (@diannaESPN) November 30, 2015
