Jerry Jones is an interesting character. His team has been the definition of average for years, but somehow it is the most valuable team in the NFL at $4 billion. He must be doing something right, but he recently conceded that it has not been selling fans on Brandon Weeden.
Around the time Tony Romo was injured Jones stated that he believed Weeden was “a gifted passer.” Since that has proven to be false Jones has confessed he may have laid it on a little thick.
“I’ve tried to get cute at the QB spot,” Jones conceded during an appearance on Dallas’ 105.3 the Fan, via Eye on Football.
