When the Washington Redskins drafted him in the first round backs in 2005 the team had hoped former Auburn quarterback Jason Campbell was going to be the QB of the future in DC. That dream lasted till they gave up on him in 2009.
He spent a couple years in Oakland, another in Chicago, one in Cleveland, and last season in Cincinnati. At the tender age of 33 he is still capable of playing, but it sounds like he is done fighting.
He’s decided to retire:
