Unless a player is retiring from the game it is kind of hard to leave a team he has been with for most or all of his career without some animosity. That is definitely the case with former Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams.
When he was released earlier in the off-season he talked about how upsetting it was that no one from the Panthers organization attended his mother’s funeral. Now we find out that the team’s Twitter account dropped him too:
Man the panthers unfollowed me same day I got released! So no I prob don't have the hook up there anymore 😔 https://t.co/nN6KTX74Rt— DeAngelo Williams (@DeAngeloRB) May 18, 2015
Oh, the humanity!
