Why Is The Media Always Dissing the Bears?

Come on Man!

After the Chicago Bears surprising comeback victory over the San Francisco 49ers Sunday night by the bay, I was once again scratching my head after reading the headlines of the day.

Why is that after the Green Bay Packers comeback victory over the New York Jets the headlines read “Rodgers Rallies Packers to Victory Over Jets” but the main headline concerning the Bears game is “49ers Implode in Loss to Bears?”

With the way Bears quarterback Jay Cutler played the headlines should have read “Cutler Rallies Bears to 28-20 Win Over 49ers.” But no, the Bears didn't win the game, the 49ers lost it.

In the second half with the Bears down 20-7, Cutler threw three touchdowns and had only one incomplete pass and no interceptions in the game.

Cutler had four touchdown passes on the day, three to Brandon Marshall and one to tight end Martellus Bennett after Kyle Fuller's second interception of the night. Marshall’s first touchdown was a leaping one handed grab just before halftime that got the Bears offense rolling.

After the game Marshall said “I just put my hand out and it stuck.”

If only the media would stick to giving credit where credit is due, than all would be well.
