"I'm not very tolerant when it comes to liberals who complain about everything." - Former Bears coach and current ESPN analyst Mike Ditka

You gotta love Mike Ditka.  Well, maybe not if you're a liberal.

Ditka has never been one to hold his tongue, so when he was asked about the controversy surrounding the Washington Redskins name, he didn't take the politically correct route.

"What's all the stink over the Redskins name?  It's so much [expletive deleted] it's incredible," Ditka said.  "We're going to let the liberals of the world run this world?  It was said out of reverence, out of pride to the American Indian.  Even though it was called a Redskin, what are you going to call them, a Brownskin?"

Oh my, somebody tell Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to catch the first plane out of Ferguson, MO.  They have a new target.

"This is so stupid it's appalling, and I hope that owner keeps fighting for it and never changes it, because the Redskins are part of an American football history, and it should never be anything but the Washington Redskins," Ditka continued.  "That's the way it is."

Ditka even said that he "admired" Redskins owner Dan Snyder for not changing the name in the face of harsh criticism from the liberal PC Police.

If Ditka's co-host at ESPN, Tom Jackson, was upset when Rush Limbaugh said that "the media is desirous for an African-American quarterback to succeed", then I'm guessing Jackson's head just exploded and he's demanding that Ditka be fired as well.  But Stephen A. Smith can stay when he says black women shouldn't provoke black men, right World Wide Leader in Hypocrisy?

But wait, it gets worse (Better actually).

"It's been the name of the team since the beginning of football," Ditka said with just the slightest exaggeration.  "It has nothing to do with something that happened lately, or something that somebody dreamed up.  This was a name, period.  Leave it alone.  Really, I think it's tradition, it's history, it's part of the National Football League (Oh boy, now Roger Goodell is going to be ticked).  I don't think that Lombardi and Halas ever had a problem with it, why would all these other idiots have a problem with the name?  These people are silly, asinine actually, in my opinion."

It's a shame that more people don't share Mike Ditka's views.  He might be brash and he might not be politically correct, but he sure as hell can cut through all the bull and get to the truth of the matter.  There is nothing wrong with the name Redskins.  If you think so, then you are just looking for things to complain about.  The nickname of a football team shouldn't really be that important in the grand scheme of things.

Now move along and find something else to be appalled by, liberals.  I'm sure there are millions of other things that "offend" you.
