Get well soon Marion!

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber has seen better days. Late Sunday night police in Mansfield,  Texas had to respond to an incident involving Barber.
It didn’t go well for him.

Details on the incident are scarce, but police did need to detain him so he could be transported to a local mental hospital for evaluation.

Police were careful to say that he was not under arrest. However official police logs show that he was technically “arrested on an application for mental detention and observation.”

“This was not an arrest, but he may have had handcuffs on him if he was placed in a patrol car,” an officer at the scene stated.

No information has been made available yet on how long he will be held for observation.

A fourth round pick in 2005, Barber played for the Cowboys through the 2010 season. He played in 11 games—starting one—for the Bears in 2011.
