Tim Tebow Still Not Willing to Officially Hang Up His Cleats

Just let it go Tim. Let it go.

Tim Tebow was a great college quarterback and a perfect fit for Urban Meyer wanted to do with the Florida Gators. In the NFL it just hasn’t been that easy; over all he has been downright bad.

He hasn’t been in a meaningful game in two years, and wasn’t even on a roster during the regular season last year—yet he still thinks he might play again.

“I’m training every day and feel like I’m the best that I’ve ever been,” Tebow said. “I still love it, love playing, talking about it, and I’m just excited about whatever the future holds. Who knows what could happen? But I’m excited about it, though.”

Admitting you’ve been forced out the door and it just isn’t going to happen must be tough, but his fallback plan isn’t half bad either (analyst on SEC Network for ESPN).
