Blackhawks advance in Stanley Cup Defense.

Patrick Kane scored the game winning goal in overtime as the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Minnesota Wild 2-1 to win the series 4-2 to advance to the conference finals.

The Blackhawks now await the winner of the Anaheim Ducks and the Los Angeles Kings for the Western Conference finals.

In a game that the Wild controlled most of the play throughout the game, Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford was outstanding in goal with 34 saves to keep the Blackhawks in the game.

Erik Haula scored for the Wild but that was it as Crawford continually stopped excellent scoring chances to eliminate the Wild and hand them their first loss at home during the postseason.
