Dan Snyder--you and your legal team are so silly!
In 2012 former Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington was named as one of the greatest players in franchise history. You would think that would make it okay for him to call himself one of the greats in promotional items for his tackling camp.
But you would be wrong.
The team sent Arrington a cease and desist letter insisting that he not refer to himself as a ‘Redskins great’ in promotional items:
His response was nothing short of perfect:
How funny get a cease and desist call from @Redskins lawyer today don't use Redskins Great or a pic of me in a uniform lol ;-) HTTR— LaVar Leap Arrington (@LaVarArrington) May 8, 2014
